Our rosemary turmeric shampoo bar is a luxurious shampoo bar. It’s made from hair loving oils and butters of avocado oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, wheat germ oil, golden jojoba oil, fresh turmeric root puree, and olive oil infused rosemary, turmeric, and calendula.
Turmeric is used in Ayurvedic medicine for its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Turmeric is high in antioxidants, skin exfoliant, improves skin complexion, used in Asia for skin care, great for inflammatory skin conditions - acne, dry skin, eczema, rashes, psoriasis.
Rosemary turmeric shampoo bar lathers very well, cleans, lifts the roots, adds volume and shine, softens your hair without weighing it down. For all hair types.
Handmade from scratch using traditional, old fashioned method of soap making to ensure a high quality and luxurious bar soap for yourself and your family. Made in our home studio in Washington State.

TO USE:
You can either:
A. Lather the bar with your hands and use as liquid shampoo, or
B. Apply the bar directly onto your hair in a downward motion.
Rinse well.

Shampoo and hair conditioner bars contain no parabens and no plastic waste, so thank you for considering using more natural products that are better for you and our environment. My intention is to make products that you will love and I dont want to waste your hard earned money on something that doesn't work for you. Please read below if you are new to shampoo and conditioner bars, or are currently living in hard water area before purchasing.
New to shampoo and hair conditioner bars:
If this is your first time using a shampoo bar, you will experience a transition period. During this phase, your hair is trying to get used to natural shampoo from liquid commercial ones. Your hair will be waxy, dull, and overly dry or over oily, or in some cases - both. This transition period takes about 2-5 weeks depending on how much detoxing your hair needs. Once this transition period is over, your hair will be soft and silky again.
Hard water:
If you live in a hard water area, natural shampoo bar soap binds with the minerals in the hard water. This will result in dry, straw like, and waxy hair. An apple cidar vinegar rinse should help. I use 1 tablespoon vinegar mixed in 1 cup of distilled water and rinse right after shampooing and before conditioning. Another thing you might consider is replacing your shower head with an inexpensive water filter shower head.
