Beer, Eggs, and Honey shampoo bar is made using raw and natural ingredients of beer, eggs, argan oil, shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, locally sourced honey and beeswax, silk amino acids, pro-vitamin B5, and olive oil to help clean, strengthen hair, and defined curls. Benefit of each main ingredient:

- Beer is made with hops, yeast, and malt which make it rich in Vitamin B12, copper, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and antioxidants. Beer makes hair shinier, adds volume, strengthens hair, improves hair health, and is a gentle cleanser. I used our homecraft IPA beer. [ side note: One of my husband's hobbies is crafting his own beer. He is not a heavy drinker but he loves the science behind beer making, which is a great bonus for me in soap making. High quality beer using raw organic ingredient].

- Egg is packed with nutrition and proteins, such biotin, folate, vitamin A, vitamin D. Egg is a superfood for hair due to a unique combination of vitamins to promote healthy hair. Cage free eggs are used in your Beer Eggs Honey shampoo.

- Honey enhances the strength of hair follicles, retains moisture, and restores nutrients to hair and scalp. I use locally sourced honey in your soap.

- Argan (Argania spinosa) is a tree endemic to the Southwest regions of Morocco. It is supposed to have anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties expressed by linoleic acid, and antioxidative properties due to phytosterols and squalene. Traditionally, argan oil has been used for centuries in the care of inflamed, allergy-prone, and acne-prone skin.

- ProVitamin B5 is wonderful for the hair. Being small in size, it penetrates the hair cylinder through openings in broken hair cuticles and binds moisture. By increasing the water content in the structure of the hair, it increases the hair elasticity. ProVitamin B5 makes hair softer and shiner, and reduces static charge.

- Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa) is valued as one of the best choices in the care of dry, irritated, and allergy-prone skin. Shea butter is an amazing skin conditioner. Organic and fair trade shea butter is used. Your purchase helps support Fair Trade organization in Africa and Feeding America in USA.

The benefits of solid shampoos
• They do not take up space.
• They are very easy to transport everywhere (no risk of leaking, no travelling restriction).
• They are zero waste.
• They are economical because they last much longer than a bottle of shampoo.
• They are easier to dose, there is no risk of wasting it by pouring too much in the hand.

Shampoo and hair conditioner bars contain no parabens and no plastic waste, so thank you for considering using more natural products that are better for you and our environment. My intention is to make products that you will love and I dont want to waste your hard earned money on something that doesn't work for you. Please read below if you are new to shampoo and conditioner bars, or are currently living in hard water area before purchasing.

New to shampoo and hair conditioner bars:
If this is your first time using a shampoo bar, you will experience a transition period. During this phase, your hair is trying to get used to natural shampoo from liquid commercial ones. Your hair will be waxy, dull, and overly dry or over oily, or in some cases - both. This transition period takes about 2-5 weeks depending on how much detoxing your hair needs. Once this transition period is over, your hair will be soft and silky again.

Hard water:
If you live in a hard water area, natural shampoo bar soap binds with the minerals in the hard water. This will result in dry, straw like, and waxy hair. An apple cidar vinegar rinse should help. I use 1 tablespoon vinegar mixed in 1 cup of distilled water and rinse right after shampooing and before conditioning. Another thing you might consider is replacing your shower head with an inexpensive water filter shower head.

Fantastic!!

This is my favorite shampoo bar ever. My hair is so much fuller and longer since I started using it. The beer smell is light and does not stick to the hair after it is washed. I recommend this to everyone.
